Kia exposed the sub-compact sedan’s North American sibling that will be sold under the Rio nameplate. Even though the K2 and Rio share the same underpinnings being the sedan versions of the all-new Rio hatchback, which was unwrapped in Geneva this past March, the two models get feature unique exterior designs.

Kia Facelifted Pro_Cee’d for UK market
Kia hs unveiled a new luxury version of facelifted Pro_Cee’d in the UK. The three-door Kia Pro_Cee’d ‘4′ comes with added standard features and is powered by the latest version of Kia’s 1.6-liter turbo diesel producing 126bhp for a 0-60mph sprint time of a little over 10 seconds and a top speed of 122 mph (196 km/h).

New Kia Cadenza
The new Kia Cadenza’s test mule has been spied somewhere in California.
The sleek looking sedan which is already on sale in South Korea as the K-7, is longer and wider than the Amanti it will replace. It is expected to be revealed this year in U.S.-spec with sales to follow before the end of 2011. In its home market, the K7/Cadenza is offered with three gasoline engines ranging in output from 165HP for the four-cylinder unit to 295HP for the 3.5 liter V6.
2011 Kia Picanto Engine Range
Kia revealed its new Picanto, which will be available with a total of four-new engines. Kia released the first official picture of the car’s interior.
The 2011 Kia Picanto gets range of four engines, with the exact choice depending on individual markets. The range includes three versions of the 1.0-litre, three-cylinder Kappa engine (petrol, flex fuel and bi-fuel) and a single 1.2-litre four-cylinder petrol Kappa unit. The engines will be hooked up to a choice of five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmissions, depending on model.

2011 Kia Picanto
Kia today published photos of its second generation Picanto city car, which will make a debut at this year’s Geneva Motor Show in March.
Details are scarce right now, but the Kia claims the car has grown in length and has a longer wheelbase, which should improve interior space. Unlike the old Picanto which is available exclusively as a five-door hatchback, the new Picanto will be offered in both 5-door and 3-door body styles.

Kia recalls nearly 8,000 Sorento
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Kia recalls nearly 8,000 Sorrento SUV models over incorrectly machined brakes.
NHTSA says: “As a result, brake fluid will leak, followed by illumination of the malfunction indicator light indicating the brake fluid level is low and should be checked, then a soft or spongy brake pedal feel, and if not serviced, reduced braking power which could increase the risk of a crash.”

2011 Kia Soul Searcher
The Kia Soul Searcher is the latest addition to Originals line-up, which includes a collection of distinctive versions of the sub-compact crossover.
The car is distinguished by a light green metallic paintwork, and cream and brown full leather interior offset by a two-tone, cream and black dashboard. Kia’s designers added chrome front grille and door handles, roof rails, black bezel headlights, mud flaps as well as 18-inch silver alloy wheels.

2011 Kia Optima Sedan Priced
Kia decided to release detailed pricing on its all-new 2011 Optima mid-size sedan. Prices for the new Kia Optima start $18,995, or $19,690.
The new 2011 Kia Optima Sedan will be offered with two powerplants, a 2.4-liter four-cylinder with direct injection technology and an output of 200HP, and a 2.0-liter 274-horsepower Turbo GDI that delivers up to 34 mpg. Later, the range will be enhanced with a gasoline-electric hybrid engine. The same powerplants are found in the Optima’s Hyundai counterpart, the new Sonata.

UK Pricing on All-New Sportage
Kia’s UK division has released pricing on the full-range of its Sportage SUV that goes on sale on November 1st. The full lineup consists of four engines, including two petrol units, a 140HP 1.6-liter powerplant and a 2.0-liter with 161HP, and two diesels, a 1.7-liter delivering 115HP and a 2.0-liter with 136HP.
