Kia Soul fully revealed! The first official photos of Kia’s Soul were leaked into the net. The photos include for the first time the interior along with more technical details of the Soul. New model will to make its debut at the Paris Motor Show. The Kia’s subcompact Soul will be offered with a choice of two gasoline engines and one diesel engine with manual or automatic transmission.

The most powerful engine of the range will be a 2.0L gasoline unit producing 142 PS at 6,000 rpm and 186 Nm (137-lbs/ft) of torque at 4,600 rpm. This engine can be combined with a 5-speed manual transmission or a 4-speed automatic. A smaller 1.6L gasoline engine generating 126 PS at 6,300 rpm and 156 Nm (115-lbs/ft) of torque at 4,200 rpm will be offered in most countries, while consumers in Europe and some other markets will also be able to order a 1.6L turbo diesel engine delivering 126 PS at 4,000 rpm and 255 Nm (188-lbs/ft) of torque at 2,000 rpm. Look at the first interior’s spy shot of the upcoming Kia Soul. It looks nice and simple. It is hard to tell is there a small luggage in the center like on Subaru Forester’s or perhaps navi pops out from there. Also looking at the spedometer and the steering wheel it looks to be hard to see your speed if you are a taller person.

As we know, Kia Soul will come to US showrooms in April of 2009. Engine choises include two four-cylinder gasoline engines: a 1.6-liter and a 2.0-liter. European models will get the 1.6-liter gasoline and 1.6-liter diesel engine.

Look at the TV ad of the Kia’s new subcompact crossover, called Soul. The new Soul will make its worldwide debut at the Paris Auto Show. While the Kia has already released images of the Soul, the teaser advert does not show the car at all. We see a bunch of creepy-happy wheels bouncing around a larger tire that supposedly represents the Soul.

Kia’s Soul has been spied again! The Soul has already been revealed, but this silver example is undergoing some final testing before production begins.

There is still some masking around the car, hinting at subtle changes for the final production version, which gets its world debut at the Paris Motor Show in October.

The Soul looks very tough, with pronounced wheel arches and roof rails that give it a chunky SUV look. It will need to stand out, though, with tough rivals such as the all-new Vauxhall Meriva and Honda Jazz awaiting it when it’s launched next year.

Expect prices to start from around $20,000.

Car spy shooters caught Kia’s test mule out testing in the desert, though this time it comes to us from Korea. Kia is supposedly developing a new near-luxury sedan using the base of the Hyundai Azera. You can see some details of the new Kia’s car design cues, including a nice set of complex element headlights that reach far up the fender wall, LED taillights and exhaust tips integrated into the rear apron. This larger sedan, reportedly codenamed VG and caught in Korea early, appears to at least have a smooth and sophisticated design beneath all that covering. We expect that new sedan will male its debuts at the Chicago or New York Auto Show.

Kia has realized the first photos of its facelifted Sportage SUV with exterior and interior styling tweaks along with the addition of a new turbo diesel engine. As 2009 model year, the Kia Sportage gets a remodeling face with a modified bumper, new headlights and a different grille while at the back, the only significant change are the restyled tail-lamps.

Kia says that the 2009 Sportage’s cabin has been improved with the remodeling panel and the new seat trims. The only change under the hood concerns the new 2.0-liter turbo diesel engine that produces 150Hp. The new Kia Sportage is expected to arrive to European dealerships in the next weeks.

Kia introduces diesel-powered Sport variant of its Cee’d model. Its a Kia’s 136bhp 2.0-litre four-cylinder diesel engine, which was produced for the Cee’d three-door version only.

Now diesel added for the five-door Cee’d and SW estate versions. Badged as Sport models, the diesel cars could mark the beginning of a diesel revolution in the Cee’d range.

Plans are afoot to introduce a more powerful oil-burning version of the Pro_cee’d too, but bosses are yet to give the project the official go-ahead.

Spy shooters have caught an heavily camouflaged sedan parked at the streets in Korea. Unknown vehicle is believed to be the new near Kia luxury sedan, called VG.

The Kia VG is expected to be front wheel drive vehicle, closely related to Hyundai Grandeur. Details are yet to be released, but expected that the Kia VG could be powered by either a 3.8L Lambda V6 engine or a more powerful 4.6 V8 Tau engine when it hits the market.

The Kia VG is set to go on sale in the second half of the 2009.

Kia has released the first official pictures of the new compact car, which will make a debut in Paris on October 2, 2008.

A smaller capacity 1.6-litre gasoline engine will be offered in most countries, alongside a 1.6-litre turbo diesel engine featuring a VGT. Both 1.6-liter engines are based on the same units used in the European market Cee’d, meaning that the gasoline engine should deliver around 122Hp and the diesel approximately 115Hp.

The Kia Soul that will be available exclusively as a five-door hatchback with front-wheel drive, has an overall length of 4,105 mm (161-in.), and a 2,550 mm (100.4-in.) wheelbase. Height is at 1,610 mm (64-in.) and width at 1,785mm (70.3-in.) (excluding door mirrors), meaning that overall, the Soul is a tad smaller than the Scion xB or for European buyers, its roughly the same size as the Nissan Note.
